Overview

Reesearch.AI is a survey research platform built to make data collection fast, cost-effective, and insightful for professionals. It empowers designers, marketers, product teams, and startups to create targeted surveys, reach relevant audiences, and extract actionable insights from one streamlined platform. It is a Yellow Slice internal project overseen by the CEO - Kishore Fogla.

The platform bridges the gap between creators and participants through a dual-sided ecosystem. Professionals can easily design and distribute surveys, while participants earn incentives for sharing meaningful feedback.

By combining AI-driven analytics with a seamless user experience, Reesearch.AI transforms how professionals validate ideas making research more accessible, affordable, and data-backed.

The Problem

Professionals in design, product, and marketing often make decisions based on assumptions rather than real data. Existing research tools are either too complex, expensive, or fragmented, making it difficult to gather reliable insights quickly.

Most platforms require users to juggle between survey creation, audience targeting, and analytics tools, which slows down the process and increases cost. This leads to missed opportunities and decisions made without sufficient validation.

Design Approach

We followed the STEP (Soak, Think, Execute, Proof) process, dividing the workflow into UX Research, UX Design, and UI Design. We began by studying tools like Typeform, SurveyMonkey, and UserCrowd user experience and visual language to understand their strengths and gaps. While they offered strong functionality, they lacked integrated targeting, incentives, or simplicity in execution.

Insights from user research revealed a clear opportunity. Professionals wanted faster validation methods and easier access to relevant audiences. This shaped our direction toward a unified, intuitive, and insight-driven platform.

The UI phase began after establishing the product structure and flow. Our design team of three worked collaboratively to shape the overall interface and user experience of the web app.

I contributed as a team designer across modules and took full ownership of the marketing website and the mobile version of the participant response flow. The product was built module by module covering the Homescreen, Templates, Pricing, Survey, Input Variables, Participant Response, and Profile.

The MVP’s key differentiator is its AI-driven insights and chat feature, allowing users to query data and receive tailored templates for their research needs. For the UI, we adopted a soft pastel palette to keep focus on content-heavy templates and introduced mesh gradients and layered visuals on the marketing site to make the experience feel immersive and dynamic. The web app established the foundation for component consistency and layout hierarchy, which later guided the creation of the marketing website.

Impact and Outcome

Reesearch.AI redefines how professionals gather feedback by making research faster, smarter, and more affordable. The product delivers a clean, guided experience that simplifies research creation while balancing structure and flexibility.

The marketing website became an expressive layer of the brand. It is interactive, visually rich, and communicating the product’s intelligence through motion and gradients. By maintaining visual coherence between the app and marketing site, we ensured a seamless user journey from discovery to engagement.

Currently, the web app is under active development and the beta version of the marketing site is live, with regular design quality audit and syncs with the dev team.

Contributions and Lessons Learnt

  1. Working collaboratively with multiple designers reinforced the importance of clear communication and maintaining consistency through a shared design system.

  1. Taking full ownership of the marketing website gave me confidence to experiment visually. Pushing gradients, hierarchy, and motion to tell a stronger product story.
